There is nothing to refund, because there is nothing to pay. This page explains the one limit that does exist on Parda — the daily points allowance — and what to do if it goes wrong.
We do not take money from members. No plans, no credits for sale, no card on file, nothing that renews, and no billing descriptor on any statement. Browsing, listing a profile, liking, matching and chatting are all free.
Why there is a limit at all
A free platform with no limit becomes a platform where a handful of people message everybody, and everybody else leaves. Points are how we stop that. They are a rate limit, not a currency: they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything.
How it works
- Every account gets a fixed allowance of points each day, automatically, free. It arrives on your first action of the day.
- A like costs a small number of points.
- A message to somebody who has never replied to you costs a few points each time.
- Once that person replies, the conversation is free for ever. This is the important part: a real conversation is never rationed. What runs your allowance down is sending openers to a lot of people who are not answering.
- Browsing, matching, unmatching, blocking and reporting never cost anything.
- Unused points roll over up to a ceiling, so a quiet week does not bank a month of messages.
The current numbers are shown on your account screen, and may change as we learn what keeps the platform usable.
When we put points back
- A message that was charged for and not delivered. Returned automatically, in the same request.
- Points taken by a fault of ours. Write to support and we restore them.
- A match lost to a bug. Same — tell us and we will look.
When we do not
- Because somebody did not reply. Points buy the ability to send a message, never another adult’s interest. Nobody can sell you that, which is part of why we do not sell anything.
- Because you spent the day liking people. The allowance refills at midnight.
- When we remove your account for a breach of the Terms or Guidelines.
If you are asked to pay, it is not us
Nobody at Parda will ever ask you for money, and no member on this platform should either. Payments between members are banned outright — see the Anti-Trafficking Policy. If anyone asks you for a payment, a loan, a gift card, crypto or a UPI transfer, it is a scam: stop replying, report them, and read the Safety Centre.
How to reach us
Through the contact page. We reply within 48 hours. If you are unhappy with the answer, escalate through the grievance process, which has a statutory timeline and gets you a different person.
